Located at San Leandro Reservoir on East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) property near Moraga. Inexpensive Trail Use Permit available online, and at various other EBMUD locations. Permit also good for EBMUD trails at San Pablo and Briones Reservoirs. See the EBMUD website.
Start at the Valle Vista Staging Area on Canyon Road in Moraga. Take King's Canyon Loop Trail along/above water.
