This is a small/medium sized clip-lock styled box hidden above a
traffic free cycle route that runs in between Mickleover and
Hilton.
Sustrans (the UK's leading sustainable transport charity) has
been planning to extend the traffic-free trail so it extends to
Burton on Trent. They are currently looking for permission from
Network Rail to make a path beside the live railway near
Egginton.
The cache itself is hidden on a bridge that crosses the cycle
path and was once used as a main route to and from Etwall, the road
has been closed since the nearby bypass was built many years ago
but it is still frequently used by dog walkers, horse riders and
cyclists leaving to trail to access Etwall.
