Having enjoyed fellow cacher Pearle's PCS of Cherokee County, I wanted to place a similar series wholly within the boundries of Henderson County. This is #54 of the series that I hope continues to grow as I find cemeteries to place caches in. Bison tube. BYOP
NOTE: Mapping software may lead you astray so here are some additional directions: Turn onto North Wofford and go about a half mile across the railroad tracks to the official Texas Historical Marker for the Wood Cemetery on the right side of the road( left if you are approaching from loop ). Wofford becomes Cream Level Road north of the RR tracks. Follow the dirt road / driveway adjacent to the marker for about 200 ft. to the cemetery. You will be able to drive to within a few feet of cache. The Wood Cemetery has not been active for many years and was "lost" for years until re-discovered about 1997. The last known burial there occurred over 100 years ago.
