Greatland Reviewer: Hello:

This cache page has been archived due to the lack of response to one or more prior Reviewer Note(s) about issue(s) with the cache and because the Cache Owner has not been online since 2013. If the owner would like to have the cache unarchived, please contact me through my profile as soon as possible before another cache gets placed nearby.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page requires it to go through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

This is a simple cache. Thought I'd start back into it slow. Hid this one on the way home from an afternoon of kiteboarding on Portage Lake. The cache is maybe 20 yards off the roadway.

This cache is a small green plastic container with a pressure fitted top. Inside you'll find a log, Oakcoins 9-11 remembrance pin, a container of mechanical pencil lead, a name tag pin ( a little shout out to one of the hosting sites of my wife's business ), and a travel bug of an Alaskan salmon trying to get back to the town I grew up in. Okay, I know it's not the town I was born/spawned in but close enough. There's no real trail but it is short enough, that unless you use a wheelchair you shouldn't complain. If you visit in the winter, wear snow pants or gators, as the snow drifts may be as much as waist deep in places. My apologies, I didn't realize until I went to place the cache that I had forgot a writing utensil, so BRING YOUR OWN PENCIL!!!!!! My GPS was reading +- 30 feet after I averaged it. Think it was the storm ( not unusual for Portage Pass )
Will try to return soon and get a better reading.
