Park setting, easy terrain, child-friendly hide.
Furnace Dam park has been our family "haunt" for as long as we've lived in the area. We spend many hours playing, watching the birds, taking pictures of the sunsets here. The park was even more beautiful several years ago when the willows were allowed to grow over the pond and grass, but they were all trimmed back to discourage birds nesting there. It worked, sadly.
The park is open only DAWN to DUSK. No pets are allowed, but strollers are and can easily access the cache. (BTW: if you're not staying long, the pets can remain in the car where you can watch them while you "cache and dash".)
In the Spring time, its fishing season!! High muggle activity on pleasant weekends. :)
This cache should be an easy find, maybe for the kids to try!
