Does anyone remember Drag City Raceway? This
is cache # 3, of a series of old, or present race tracks in Nova
Scotia. I am a big Nascar race fan, and wanted to put out some
caches with race themes. In this cache I started out with some
nascar swag. Cache is a 1.6L lock n lock. Boots may be needed
during certain times of
year.

Track Configurations: 1/3 mile paved
oval
Drag city Raceway opened in August 1968. It
not only hosted a 1/4 paved oval, but also a 1/4 drag strip. Some
great local drivers like, Terry Clattenburg and Jr. Hanley use to
race here in the 1970. The track was located in Lower Sackville by
what in now Livley Rd.The area that use to be Drag City Raceway, is
now a growing subdivsion.
I placed this cache as close to the old track, that I could locate
from google earth. The cache is behind the bike park and tennis
courts off Rosemary
Livley rd. and Rosemary on the left with Nicks Lane going
into the area.
