Geocache Description:

NANO CACHE. Replace in a wheelchair friendly location. Located in the village of Endon, on a busy junction. Stealth will be required at most points during the day. Please beware of the busy road, keep an eye on kids and dogs!

The cache is a black container hidden at the fountain.
The fountain was erected in 1898 at the top of Leek Road to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. It was demolished in the 1930s, apart from an inscribed stone which survives as the base of a seat.
This is an extremely busy area, so please be careful next to the road, especially if you have children. There is parking all the way down Station road, which is also ideal parking for our three other caches in the area. This could be done as a cache and dash, but please park sensibly. The cache is now a nano cache, and you would be advised to bring your own writing implement.
This cache is wheelchair accessible, only if replaced in reach of someone in a wheelchair. Please keep this in mind. We will check on this often.

Endon, Stanley and Brown Edge Cache Routes.
I have lived in Endon most of my life, and recently returned with my children to enjoy the closeness to the countryside. I have laid some caches along footpaths we normally walk, so others can enjoy them too. I've tried to use a range of sized caches and containers, and to keep the hide and terrain varied.

It is possible to complete a circular/figure of eight loop of all the caches, but I'll let you take a look at that for yourself.

Please take some time to follow the Country Code, and respect the land you are crossing. Please be aware that some of the foot paths cross very close to people's houses, and that some foot paths are used by school children in the morning and afternoon.

The parish is completely clamping down on dog fouling, and rightly so. Please make sure you pick up after your dog, and make sure it is on a lead when necessary. Most bins take litter and dog waste.

I hope you enjoy our caches. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or concerns. We welcome lots of photos but please avoid spoilers! Good luck!
