Come to the Iris Capital of the World!
Come to Keizer for an afternoon geocaching challenge.You will go to various locations by GPS to compete against other cachers in this game.
There are 93 geocoins to earn in the geocaching challenge.The event runs Saturday from 1-6pm. Challenge forms and any coins not earned on Saturday will be available Sunday May 17th from 10am-4pm. You can get the challenge forms and any remaining coins at the Chamber of Commerce at 680 Chemawa NE, Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm . We will make a log entry following the Saturday event to advise if there are coins left to be earned Sunday.
The event will be held at Keizer Station Park which is the newest in the city. LOOK FOR the geocaching banner at the Arts & Blooms tents. This is a family friendly activity. So put it on your calendar. We hope to do this as a yearly event. Please check back for any changes or further details.
There will be trackables to discover and trade. Come meet and greet other cachers as well as participate in the challenge. We have 8 caches so far in the city you can visit and there are many others in Keizer.
