A get-together to welcome another Floridean visitor, who is coming to Edinburgh just to do my Royal Mile caches!
You are all cordially invited to the Cafe Royal to meet and greet an American visitor to Edinburgh, flyingpita or Jill as she is also known. Very similar arrangement to the event orgainsed by the mighty Captain Jack for Perk143's visit in 2007.
A chance to have a blether, meet some old and new friends and swap a few bugs and coins. Jill tells me she is bringing a supply of her trademark signature chickens with her. No, I don't have any idea what they are either, so you'll have to turn up on the night to find out what they are!
Anyone wearing a kilt will be bought a drink by yours truly. I would wear one myself, but snow blindness is a terrible affliction.
Start time is 7pm to give the workers time to get there and I hope a fair few of you can come along.
