This is a winter friendly hide in the quieter corner of the Park.
There is more than one route to this cache but all will give you a cardio workout. Terrain may be more of a 3.25-3.5. When the ground is wet, take your time. Summer will bring plant obstacles and the assortment of insects to deal with. The journey is not particularly long but you’ll be rewarded with a superb view at certain times of the day. The cache is small (1.75x5) so it holds the necessities (log book and pencils) and very small tradeables/trackables. At time of release the cache has a geocoin, some small swag, and an Anthony Dollar for the FTF. Please retrieve and rehide VERY carefully, thanks.
Plenty of parking is available not far from the cache but allow yourself some time. We see a lot of canines out walking muggles here. Beware.
This cache is registered with the Three Rivers Park District. Please obey all park rules, enjoy your visit and practice CITO.
