Geocache Description:

Hidden in the Yankauer Nature Preserve and managed by the Potomac Valley Audubon Society. Follow the Kingfisher Trail. When you see the sign for the Kingfisher trail that points left or right, then take the left trail. Stay on the path all the way, no need to bushwhack till the last 10 feet.

Ahoy Mates!  Call me Capt'n Smiley.
Me hid me treasure somewheres in these hills, after
a long hike to escape me capture from the Queen's men.
Ya see I came up the Chesapeak Bay then up the Potomac
River then scuttled me ship so's to cover me tracks.
Then kept walking west. Well I guess this be far enough.
I don't think they will comes after me this far.
It's nice and peaceful in this here forest and while me
and me men stayed here for awhile, Mother Nature
provided all our needs except for one small thing.
We ran out of Rum and Grog.
So I sent me men out on a mission to find the
ingredients needed so we can make our own brew.
Well I don't know what happened, cause me men
never returned.
Even me parrot left me.

Well I decided to set off in search for meself
and left behind me treasure box.
However I shall return someday and check up on me
Loot of Gold Doubloons, Rubys, and Diamonds.
So if ye should stumble upon me treasure
I would be beholding to ya
Ifs ye only takes just one Doubloon and two
of me gems per pirate.
So's to leave some for those that comes after ya.
or I might hasta make some of ya ta walks the plank.
