Geocache Description:

These coordinates take you to the beautiful grave of Clare Townsend. With some information you will find there and some very simple math, you will find a nearby cache container, painted to match, that holds some small swag to trade as well as a log to sign.

(many thanks to Woyi and Waya and The Conspicuous One for keeping this cache going when it was muggled in spring of 2010)

According to the excellent website www.theshadowlands.net, "Meadowbrook Cemetery in Lumberton is haunted by the spirit of Clare Townsend, a young lady who died on her wedding night in the early 1900's. Many people have claimed that they see her strolling through the cemetery late at night".

It's easy to believe this when you see the beautiful grave her family erected in her honor. To find the cache location, do the math
THE FINAL CACHE LOCATION:

W 079.00.1YY
XX = The last two digits of Clare's year of birth minus one
YY = The last two digits of Clare's year of birth minus two
(see? I told you it wasn't hard)
