Geocache Description:


The South Drive-In which was located on US 29 south of Danville, Va opened in the early 1950's It had a capacity of 400 cars. During it's later years, it showed Adult Only movies. The South Drive-In closed around 1985. The only thing left today is part of the entrance sign (an arrow pointing to the entrance)

The cache is a bison tube so bring your own writing instrument.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ACCESS THIS CACHE FROM RT 29 AS IT IS NOW AN INTERSTATE QUALITY HIGHWAY.
