crs98: It seems the current crop of servers is unaware of the geocache. While it actually attracted business to the restaurant (numerous event caches have been held here in the past), the most recent experiences of the person who DNF'd the cache would seem to indicate that they don't realize the intrinsic value of having the geocache here and are actively discouraging folks from looking for the cache.

I no longer work nearby and while I've been willing to swing by and replace logs from time to time, I don't have the time or energy to re-establish relationships to help keep this cache going on. With that I think it's time to bid this one a fond farewell. Thanks to the many thousands of people who found this cache over the years and the 123 folks who thought their experiences here were worth a favorite point.

Geocache Description:

Fremont is a nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants and shops, most of which are small and locally owned. There are lots of little quirky things to do and see like the Troll, and the statue of Lenin. With the nearby Burke Gilman trail, there are also lots of places for people to ride, walk their dogs, and just hang out. The interesting and unique thing about this spot is that the nearby restaurant allows dogs to come inside with their owners.

Permission has been obtained to place the cache.

Congratulations to mgosho, rodgowdy, and geotrackers2006 for a triple co-FTF.

5/27/09 Note: Upped the difficulty to 3-stars based on the relative fraction of finders vs. posted DNF. I also added a small hint to the description. I'm happy to provide additional hints to anyone who needs one if they can't find it. While the cache is nominally available 24/7, your best bet is to look before 10am in order to minimize muggle distractions.
