Geocache Description:

Jeromesville, Ohio... named for Jean Baptiste Jerome, who arrived in the area around 1795. Jerome made his living selling seed corn to early settlers as well as farming land near the Jerome Fork of the Mohican River.

Jeromeville (original spelling) was established on February 14, 1815 when Christian Deardorff purchased land from Jerome for the purpose of establishing the village. Deardorff named the town after the long-time settler.

Cache is a camo peanut butter jar hidden in the Jeromesville Cemetery with log and room for trades. Should be an easy find, but if you get stumped, I'd be glad to help you out.

Cache is not near any stones or concrete.

Daytime hours only please.
