On March 9th, I
underwent a Mitral Valve Repair using the Da Vinci Robot at Scripps
Mercy Hospital. For information on this procedure, just follow the

Mitral Valve Repair. This cache was placed to commemorate the
event. At the current time, the procedure seems to be a success and
I am recovering well.
This cache has
a strange history. It started out as an unofficial cache that I
brought to the hospital with me. I thought it might be fun to have
a little cache that people could discover when they came visit.
Then one night, as I was trying to sleep, Marko Ramius, made it a
real cache, loggable on Geocaching.com. It was named "Come See LLOT
in Room 1120". Many cachers stopped by either to see me or to log
the cache (or both). Then, due to negative olfactory events
surrounding my roommate, the nurses took pity on me and moved me to
another room. The cache became known as "Come See LLOT in Room
1118". The cache took a little hiatus when I checked out of the
hospital. As I recovered and began to become more mobile, Marko
adopted the cache over to me and I have placed it in a permanent
location.
