Geocache Description:

You know that you’ve seen it. It lurks on street signs and at entrances to neighborhoods and shopping centers. Who knows where it will end up next?! It is spreading like kudzu all over our fair city and will probably take over the entire planet! What is it?

It’s THE PRETENTIOUS E!!

You know you’ve found it when you see a sign that reads “Parke” instead of “Park”. Or how about the sophisticated “Pointe” instead of “Point”? There are just too many examples to list. Sometimes we get so sick of seeing these ridiculous monikers that we just want to scream from the rooftops: “Give us a break(e)!!!”

I am introducing this series to the Triad. I found one in Myrtle Beach and wanted to bring it here. Others are more than welcome to find their own "E" and place others to perpetuate the series(e).

Can you believe that there is another Charlestowne over here so close to Charlestown Crossing. One might think that this side of towne was owned by Charles himself!
