Chicken Ranch Traditional Cache

Well today, my 16 year old daughter passed her driving test and is now a licensed driver!!! So.. What does she want to do?? Take Dad caching! It’s her way to say she wants to hit the road.

How could I possibly refuse? Well as we were cruising down the road, what do we see but some really happy poultry! They seemed to really be enjoying our brief little taste of spring as they were really living it up on the beach! The sun was shining, the waves were mellow and the odor of BBQ was in the air! Well I certainly hope these weren’t cannibal chickens but with it smelling so good, I couldn’t blame them if they were.

About the location:

Years ago, I was a Ranger for the Marin County Parks, Open Space and Cultural Services department. As a part of my duty, I would visit many of Marin’s small parks such as this one to make sure all was in order and safe for the public. It’s really good to see that those who have followed in my tracks have kept the place up well.
