A child-friendly cache apart from a few brambles (so be careful) - small camoflagued tupperware box with room enough only for small toy swaps and the odd trackable item. Hidden along a public footpath beyond Muscliffe Park, it is a lovely walk with plenty of space for the kiddilies to run off some energy, hence why this is Jake's (Master tomrbraider3) cache - he's like a puppy dog that needs some exercise most of the time so he chose the spot and name for the cache. Should have called him Fido.
There is parking at co-ords N50 45.622 W001 51.468 at Muscliffe Park Community Centre. A large field and a children's playground with football pitches behind adorns this area with woodland further back. Also a concrete area for footie and basketball nets are here. Lots of dog walking space ideal for energy burning. Residential area surrounds the park which peters out towards throop past the woodland. Plenty of other caches nearby! I wonder what you call a group of caches?? A throng? A gaggle? I know, a tuppaware of caches!
Note - whilst getting to the cache is wheelchair friendly, with help from the access waypoint N50 45.710 W001 51.373 the footpath is not wide but should accomodate ok. The cache will require assistance though. Any advice about access is gladly welcome.
You can also possibly get to the cache the other way via throop / Muscliffe Lane.
