Arghh!!! It was 10 to 1 and I liked the odds. There was all but two remaining ships from the Imperial Fleet when my Golden Maiden's rudder was shot right out. My men paddled us to shore and we headed inland (North) from Mathew's Lagoon. Arghh...I'll be skinned alive before those scurvy scoundrels put their filthy hands on my loot. We took La Sierra's black stone pass north along Mathew's coast towards the mountains. With 40 soldiers on our trail, we ventured off the black stone pass and pushed westward up the curvy dirt trail into the rocky mountains. Two of my loyal mates, Juls Pegleg and Johnny Two Guns stayed behind to buy me some time while I hid my treasure. I'll join their poor souls in Davy Jones Locker soon enough. As I stopped to catch my breath and looked down towards the valley below, I saw a hole made of rock big enogh to hide a man. It was there where I hid my treasure.
