March 30 will be our 1st geocaching anniversary. It was one year ago that we discovered our first cache and this amazing hobby. We have seen, touched, heard, felt and been places we could only imagine during our year of caching adventures. To celebrate this awesome milestone we will be placing caches every weekend in March (yes, there's five).
This hide represents the smallest member of our geofamily. He has been a geocacher for 2/3 of his life now! Being almost 2 years old, he has started to show his own personal tastes also. Geobabes favorite things are all over this cache! During the winter months we have been feeding the birds at home and watching them from the window. The cache location is a haven for birds. I swear I followed Big Birds footprints in when placing it! Bring your binoculars. Ernie, of Bert and Ernie fame tops the list lately and the best toys at the moment are dinky cars. There are no shortage of them lying around to step on!
Books, books, and more books are being read on our laps. Nursery rhymes are being remembered and rehearsed every day. Geobabes prefered poetry includes Old King Cole, The Owl and The Pussycat, Hickory Dickory Dock, As I was going to St. Ives, Ladybird Ladybird, and Pease Pudding Hot. Amazing how it all comes back to you.
Skulls and crossbones are everwhere. Since Halloween they have multiplied in our house. Kind of fitting for him to love skulls if you know us at all though.
Anyhoo, on to the cache...
The coords listed make an awesome place to park but it will be much easier to get closer coords out of our bragging!
