Norte Coast Redwoods State Park – Mill Creek Watershed
Addition was recently opened to the public. There are innumerable
trails to ride your bike, horseback or hike to various viewing
points and groves. This particular hike is just about 8 miles
roundtrip with a total elevation gain of about 2000', so do plan
your day wisely as the park is currently only available from
9am-5pm on the weekends.
This was Dante's very first lengthy hike and he loved it! Dogs must
be kept on the leash but that's no problem because the road/trail
is quite wide so it makes for an enjoyable hike.
