Cache is located near Rough & Ready Creek down a small embankment.
Cache is a small camo cookie tin filled with small trade items. There is room for travel bugs. You will need to climb down the bank and over a few rocks to access the cache.
Rough & Ready Creek is best viewed after a rain in the winter. It will then run bank to bank covering all the rocks and islands.
In the summer the creek will be dry across most of the flat and will have gone sub terrain for water flow.
This is one of the first rivers in the area to rise and first to drop due to the drainage above being mostly rock.
Please have fun and be careful entering or leaving the highway. This is a very busy road and the cars are moving very fast coming off the four lane section just north of the bridge.
As always in a dry climate be on the look out for snakes or critters.
