The Uniting Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ngaambul: As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This is a micro cache in the form of a Bison Tube. A bit longer than a film canister but half as wide. It is'nt hard to locate and ensure the cache is covered well after replacing. Please be careful of the local muggles nearby and those walking past.

St Andrew's Uniting (formerly Presbyterian) Church Singleton. The first church and manse were built in 1838, enlarged in 1878-79 and served until the construction of the present church whose foundation stone was laid on 15 December 1904 and opened on 31 May 1906. Designed by the Sydney architects Nixon & Adam in the Gothic style, the original plans included a tall tower and spire, but this has never been built. The church contains many fine memorials, chief of which is the pipe organ, which is a World War I memorial.

Please enjoy another of Singleton's classic monuments. Happy caching :-)
