Plenty of parking in the area, and because of the location I don't think anyone would be wondering what you are doing as long is it isn't night time. Be careful crossing the "Hogg" and you will be fine. Don't get stumped between the big pines. Bring a pen with you. Raised difficulty and terrain during summer months because of vegetation.
Looks like some kids may be using the area to drink a beer or two at night. Not dangerous by any means.
