This cache is located on the north end of the Audubon Society trail system. Easy walking path in the spring/summer/fall months with a short/easy bushwhack to the cache. One of my trademark caches that is winter friendly. The cache holder is a small sized cache Thanks!
The Audubon Society maintains a very nice trail system which is open to the public. This is a great place to come with your family to get outdoors, smell the flowers, spot the many species of birds that thrive here, and just appreciate nature. You can park at the Audubon Society's parking lot, visit their store, grab a map of the trail system, or attend one of their nature classes. While looking for a location to place this cache I stumbled upon a cache that the Audubon Society had placed several years ago and never published. They sometimes use that cache for school classes or on special occasions but it is not intended for general geocaching purposes. So if you do find it by accident (you shouldn't, it's a ways away from this cache) please don't disturb it. And, as always, out of respect for this nature preserve please feel free to practice CITO. I feel quite fortunate to have this very nice natural area so close to home. Enjoy your walk!
