The family sedan should be able to make it up the main dirt road easily enough, they keep the road graded well. If you feel uneasy driving up the side road then just pull over and walk the rest of the way. Not much of a slope but there are many small cacti and tree stumps sticking up that you need to watch for. Ammo can of stuff.
Well, it was Christmas tree chopping down time in Caliente when we actually placed it the day after Thanksgiving 2008. We never get a tree but always go on the tree trek. Headed up with Dylan's Pirates and non-caching (GASP!) friends of theirs. We had a great time but it sure was strange not having Anneke13 along this year. Got everyones beautiful trees cut and loaded, had lunch and took a walk to find the perfect spot for a cache.
Got home and LOST the coordinates! So sometime back in Feb we were going back up the poke around the remains of Delemar with DJKing so took a little side trip back up the mountain and were lucky enough to walk right up to where we had placed the cache. Got the coords, got home at the end of another long day and forgot about the cache. Got bugged yesterday by DJKing about it so here it is.
