There is plenty of car parking space alongside the road on the
outskirts of Wylye at N51º 08.417 W001º 59.418 or alternatively you
could park at the local pub, the Bell, in the heart of the village
and partake of their hospitality.
The walk will take you along the riverbank and under the A303
towards Fisherton De La Mere . Whilst here there is another easy
multi caches close by, Rosie & Co’s Wylye Wandering Revisited
GC18EQ9.
With no sign posts to mark Fisherton from the main A36, few
people know of the existence of this village but it’s well worth a
visit. .
If there is livestock in the fields please keep dogs under
control, also keep an eye on any children with you as the river may
be deep and swift in places. The walk may also be a little muddy in
the winter or after rain.
