Geocache Description:


This cache replaces an archived hide that was one of our first finds and is located in Raccoon Township Municipal Park. This park has many ballfields which are used extensively all spring, summer and fall. When our girls were younger we had many happy memories of watching them play softball here. There is also a playground and several picnic shelters.
The cache location is the woods behind the ballfields. The container is a camoed jar with various swag. For the closest parking follow the road around and park at N 40 36.868 W 080 23.573. For a longer hike across the ballfields when not in use, park at N 40 36.977 W 080 23.707. The park is open during regular daylight hours. NO NIGHT CACHING!. The gates may be locked during the winter months so you may have to hike in. Good Luck and Happy Caching.
