Geocache Description:

The cache is NOT at the listed coordinates. In order to find this cache you will need to solve the puzzle below.

On a recent starry night, we noticed that theRubinator made his 1,000th find.

He has taken his time in finding one thousand caches, opting to hunt for caches that require a bit of effort, mentally and physically, or are unique in some way. He is often quick on a FTF and he has shown a propensity to hunt caches under the cover of darkness.

As we stood under that star filled sky, admiring theRubinator's accomplishment, we realized that he was deserving of his very own constellation. So, from one night object to the next we began mapping out the newest constellation in the night sky: theRubinator.

We tried our best to avoid any objects that were part of current constellations, and as we went, we noticed that, like the tangled path to 1,000 caches, theRubinator became messier and messier.

In the end, the new constellation was complete and then we used it to navigate our way to one more cache that can only be found at night. Plot out this new constellation and then follow the stars to the cache.

You will find an illumination device a useful tool. Along the trail, about 10' off the ground, single stars you will find; four in a row - and it's time to start looking for the final. Once you have found the cache, on a clear night, you might want to wander on a bit farther for some excellent star gazing and see if you can find theRubinator.
