Geocache Description:

Located on the northside of Shelby. Turn on the Lake Shel-oole road follow gravel road to parking lot located at N48 31.460 W111 33.374 Watch for muggles

Lake Shel-oole was created from the city of Shelby and Dept of Agriculture watershed project in 1969 following the devastating flood in 1964. The 50 foot high dam holds water from 2880 acres of drainage and diverts water through a canal system around the edge of the city. The storage capacity is 1530 acre feet of water. Just below the dam is the Shel-oole campground which has 42 campsites. The micro cache holds new coordinates to a regular cache containing a log book, pencil, puzzle book, rubber ball, stocking hat, toy cars and several other trade items. Cache is well hidden and will take good eyes to locate. Please replace cache as you found it.
