Millions of gallons of Glen's Creek water have been converted to Kentucky Bourbon over time.
At one time three major distilleries used Glen's Creek as a water source. The sadly defunct Old Taylor and Old Crow distilleries are in ruins, but were very big producers in their glory days. Labrot & Graham, farther up the creek, opened its doors in 1812 as the Oscar Pepper Distillery. Happily it is still in operation.
Glen's Creek runs into the Kentucky River just up the road in Franklin County and eventually is further diluted when the Kentucky joins the Ohio River. With only one distillery left on the creek, doesn't it seem like a lot of good water is getting away?
The cache is a pre-formed tube..
CONGRATULATIONS TO BEHIND THE CAMERA FOR FTF ON A NICE SPRING DAY!!!!!
