Short walk down a track to some water falls
At this cache site you will see two water falls, it about a 20min return walk the first is
Matai Falls – The walk to the falls is through regenerating podocarp/broadleaf forest. A wooden platform built into the bed of the stream provides a convenient place to the view the 10m high falls.
About 50m upstream the stream divides and drops over Horseshoe Falls it's steep 5-minute climb to them.
The cache is on the way to HorseShoe Falls, They would look real cool in the pouring rain.
GPS reception is not the best, when you come to the second green fence on you way back from Horse Falls you are close.
The cache is a 500ml snaplock container it has logbook pen and a few swaps
