Geocache Description:

Terrain: Tarmac, dirt track (firm), grass verge (flat)
Difficulty: A very keen eye required.

Cache: Camoflaged and very small - log book only.. you'll need your own pen/pencil.

Frank:
As with the rest of the Monkeyaid series of caches, this spot marks a favourite old haunt of Danny and Mike. There's a kind of sifting setup here, where during the dredging of the Whitlingham Broads all the sand and gravel was shunted through the local field by means of a huge conveyor-belt and then sorted through the various graders in this site. The output of this was a number of heaps of sand and gravel of varying sizes.. the largest heap at some point having been a massive mound of flint boulders - which, for reasons Danny and Mike can't really remember, obtained the name "Frank".

Access: You have choices..
{a} From A47/A146 junction, Kirby Road, then first left (over A47) and follow road, not turning off, until you get to the gates of the quarry/sifting place.. park-up here.
{b} From Trowse, follow Whitlingham Lane along past the Ski Centre and fields (on right) until you get to the first car-park (a pay'n'display on left) - on right of road there's a gated track that is lined with tall mature trees and leads up a gentle slope to the same gates as mentioned above.
{c} Or obviously a gentle walk from wherever you wish! There's a few public footpaths around here...the one from Wood's End, Bramerton would be a nice one to try.

Request: You'll see that there's a small disc marking the spot where the cache is positioned - please return the cache exactly to this spot... you'll see why.
