Geocache Description:

This is an easy park and grab in a remote location. You will be looking for a cammoed match container on a beautiful old stone arch bridge spanning the Walnut River. Bring a writing instrument and be careful retrieving the cache. Please don't drop it.

I was out hunting down the ghost town of Sycamore Springs when I came across this beautiful old bridge. I stopped in at the farm north of the bridge to enquire about Sycamore Springs and luckily a 90 year old gentleman resident was able to tell me exactly where the old town was. He also told me that his father hauled rock to build the bridge. These are some typical nice Kansas people. Nice farming people like this make me proud to be a Kansan.
