The “SH” in the cache name above signifies a Spirit Hunt, a project by the Miami Valley Geocachers to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This cache is part of that series created by MVG members to highlight cemeteries in the area. Please be respectful of the area and absolutely NO night caching! The neighbors will be watching.
While I was hiding this one of the neighbors stopped by to check out what I was doing. After a brief Geo 101 he was very excited to learn about geocaching and will be keeping an eye out for this area as he always does to make sure nothing out of the way is going on, especially after dark. If you are in the area and looking for this cache do not be surprised to be visited by this friendly neighbor.
The cache itself is a small size plastic container with a few items to get started. Please rehid well and if you want to visit the cemetery be careful crossing the road.
