Geocache Description:

This is a Multi Cache which consists of 2 small stops along the way (from where you will obtain the co-ords for the next stage) and then a final location with a small sized Cache box containing all the usual swaps and goodies. Access to final stage can get overgrown at certain times of the year so shorts may not be the best option!

This Multi Cache is set along the coastpath from Perranuthnoe around to Trenow Cove. It is our favourite local dog walk and has been for many years.

Parking is at Perranuthnoe Car Park and from there you take the coastpath to Marazion. Follow the path around to Maen-du (Black Rock) Point and onwards past Boat Cove, where off-shore can be seen the finger of rock known as The Greeb. Following on from this is Trenow Cove, which is ideal for a picnic or a spot of paddling in Summer. However, to access the Cache point itself, you will need to keep to the coastal footpath. Be mindful of cliff edges here though if you have dogs.

We have actually resurrected this final Cache point after it was disabled by the previous owners. But we thought it was such a lovely location, with the most magnificent views of Trenow and St Michaels Mount, that it ought to be kept going.

Whilst completing this Multi, you could very easily complete 'Mounts View' Cache by the Newlyn Cachers. Also, for a longer walk, you could leave your car parked at the location for 'Not Another Layby' Cache by PD Cachers, and following the footpath signs, walk down across the fields to this one.

The co-ords given are for the first Cache point, which is a small container. Inside are the co-ords for the second, a 35mm canister, with the co-ords for the final Cache site.

Hope you enjoy this walk as much as we do.
