Geocache Description:

The Panhandle Trail, named after the Panhandle Division of the Pennsylvania Railroad, is a rail-to-trails project in southern Pennsylvania and the Northern Panhandle of West Virginia. It occupies an abandoned Conrail railroad corridor that had been known as the "Panhandle Railroad".

This section of the trail was converted into a bicycle and walking trail in 2008. This cache was placed approximately 1/2 way between the town of Midway and the parking coords below (following the trail). Although this cache is along the Panhandle Trail, it is not part of the Panhandle Trail series (PHR caches).
