Tämä multikätkö sijaitsee Lohjan Paloniemen läheisyydessä.
Paloniemessä on sijainnut v. 1900 Eliel Saarisen suunnittelema kartanon päärakennus, joka paloi maan tasalle 6.1.1950. Tilalle rakennettiin vanhainkoti joka näkyy maisemassa keltaisena kivitalona. This multicache is located near mansion house of Paloniemi, in Lohja area.
The original main building was designed by Eliel Saarinen in 1900, but it burned down 6.1.1950.
Now on same place is a yellow building for aged people.
History of Paloniemi begins from 16th century when place was known as a ranch.

Toisen maailmansodan jälkeen Paloniemen maista suuri osa jaettiin karjalaiselle siirtoväelle. Kätkö sijaitsee karjalaisten yhteismaalla, Rajaportinsuon tuntumassa. Suolta on aikanaan haettu turvetta maanparannustarpeiksi, ja suolle on pitänyt tehdä myös tie kuljettamista varten. Näkyvin muisto tästä on tien kallioleikkaus. Alueelta löytyy myös pieni sorakuoppa ja vanha käytöstä poistettu räjähdysainevarasto joka on ollut paikallisen Renlundin rautakaupan käytössä.
Sorakuopan ja varaston lähellä lojuu romua ja piikkilankaa. Lasten ja koirien kanssa kannattaa olla varuillaan.
After ww II, when carelian evacuees were relocated in Lohja area, remarkable part of Paloniemi land was shared for them.
The cache is in carelians common land, near marshland called Rajaportinsuo. At one time, peat was
useful soil improvement, used on fields. Carelians builded road from the marshland for transportation. Road is still distinguishable, for example a channel in crags.
There is also a sand storage and an old explosivedepot been used by Renlund hardwarestore.
Be aware with children and dogs, there maybe junk and barbed wire near above named place.
