Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted coordinates, at ground level behind the telephone pole. Use stealth.

I have met cachers who roll their eyes at talk of first-to-finds (FTFs), but pursuit of FTFs can be lot of fun. FTF hunting can be a great way to meet other cachers in the field. Plus, there's a special feeling of accomplishment. Some would say, "those folks are maniacs--don't encourage them," but I disagree. True, some of us are maniacs, but we should be encouraged!

But ... the pursuit of FTFs can sometimes be disappointing. This challenge cache is a little palliative to take the edge off of a tough 2TF or 3TF. Here are the requirements of the challenge:

You must find 10 caches to complete this challenge.
The caches must all be found after June 10, 2009.
You may not be the FTF or claim FTF (or co-FTF) honors on any of them.
You must find the qualifying caches on the same calendar date (month / day / year) as when they are first found.*
Event caches where first-to-find is awarded (for first arrival, randomly drawn, etc.) do count.
In your "found it" log, list the qualifying caches--include at least the waypoint ID (the "GC number"). (If you'd like, tell us who did get the FTF for each qualifying cache.)
You must sign the log of the physical cache; you may sign the log before completing the challenge.
You may log this find multiple times (limit 5). Just re-list another ten qualifying caches. You don't have to revisit the physical cache--but you're welcome to do so!

Have fun with this challenge!
*(In the unusual case where the FTF is pre-awarded, e.g., as a raffle prize at a F.R.O.G.S. event, and is logged with a date that is before the publication date, caches found on the publication date--for those who didn't attend the event or were not allowed to claim a find--qualify for this challenge. If finds other than FTF were allowed before publication, and you were allowed to find the cache early, then you need to have found the cache on the date of that first opportunity. Folks not at the event who see the cache only upon publication have a qualifying cache if they find the cache on the pub date. The idea is that you find the cache on the date of the earliest opportunity--generally, the same date as first finder--but still didn't get the FTF.)

Congrats to totallygomer for the FTF!!!
