This is the first of the Fermentation Series at Cider Mill Pond on the Walt Whitman Trail on Flat Hills Rd in Amherst. Follow the red blazed trail from the trail head. If you do all three in this series it is strongly suggested that you retrace your steps on the red blazed trail rather than attempt to loop. Parking at trail head is 42.24.870/072.29.750.
