Geocache Description:


Lake Midoriko is an artificial lake made as a pond to secure the irrigation rainwater after World War II.

It is famous now as Mecca of the spatula crucian carp fishing.
The spatula crucian carp fishing rally is held in spring.

Moreover, the firefly protects it in the river in the downstream recently.

Cache is in the levee in such a lake.

みどり湖は、第二次世界大戦後に灌漑用水を確保するために作られた人造湖です。

今では、へら鮒釣りのメッカとして有名です。
春にはヘラ鮒釣り大会が開催されます。

また、最近ではホタルの保護を下流の川で行っています。

キャッシュはそんな湖の畔にあります。
