Geocache Description:

A real hands on type cache.

This cache of unknown size to you is located at a memorial to Americans that have served thier country. The Memorial is located on the grounds of the Town of Pendleton town hall. There are no posted hours but, night caching is probably not a good idea. I grew up in this small farming town a long time ago. A drive through town will quickly tell you it is far from a farming town now. The town is named for Sylvester Pendleton Clarke. The Erie Canal divides part of the town and gives it a little extra history too. This area has enough other caches to keep you busy for a while. Look up my other local cache---Hinman Rock Wall-- just down the road.

Oh, The name is a combination of Pendleton and Wendleville which was a stop just down the road on the canal.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE place cache back exactly where you found it. Nothing worse than not being able to find your own cache when maintainance is due and some b**t head moved it on you.

Thanks for looking and have fun.
