5 Friendly Fishies: Due to an inability to fix and the unwanted desire of continuous, future fixing, I am archiving this cache. A special thanks to Pickles for always commenting me on the awesomness of this hide. Sorry to see it go as well. Thanks to BDM for his offer to help fix her up! I appreciate the respect that the "old time" cachers had for the hide and the game. Too bad that it has become what it has become for hiders. Guess you'll just be seeing me on the "finding" trails! A small hill and small amount of brush could be near or leading up to the cache, this is why it is a 2.5 terrain.
This is a house for trading all of those wonderful Travel Bugs! Feel free to take one even if you do not have one to leave, for we like to keep them moving, however do not leave it empty for the next cacher. Remember to log your new travel bug. The cache is located close to a freeway for easy access. Please do not leave any swag items in this cache. Leave TB's and coins only. Use Stealth Please!
You will need to have the key to open the lock on the cache. It is located in the area surrounding the birdhouse. A tool was left on the ground to help with opening or closing the hasp if it gets stuck, however it is now missing and will need to be relpaced. If it is there, please use it gently and replace where you found it for the next cacher. Do not keep! This is not SWAG!!! This is meant to be a little challenging (the reason for the 3.5 rating). The cache itself is soooo easy, that finding the key is the harder part.
Please email me if you have problems, or if something is missing so that I can fix it. DO NOT PUT A "NEEDS MAINTENENCE " ICON ON IF YOU SIMPLY CAN NOT FIND THE KEY.!!!! If needed, I have coordinates to the key. I am trying my hardest to make this a cache where your TB's can be safe from muggles. I have a key to keep YOUR expensive items where only cachers can get to them. Please help me out on this, by limiting maintence icons to actual maintence that is needed on the cache itself. Email me with key questions FIRST.
Please DO NOT try and "jimmy" the lock with your pliers, hack saws, or multi tools. ONLY use the key to open it. I have checked on the key so many times and it has AWAYS been there, so please try and find it. DO NOT ,under any circumstances, SIGN the farmhouse itself! That is just opening the door to a mess and I do not want signatures all over the house. (Not to mention that to do that is just plain rude). Let's be appropriate cachers. If necessary, eventhough I hate them too, a DNF is not the end of the world. Signing the log is a MUST to count this as a find. This is not a virtual cache, so just seeing the house DOES NOT count as a find. Please respect my cache so that others may enjoy it too. Without hiders their would be no game......
