Wild Garbage Series - Creekers Disgrace

Located off of a busy road heading north from Port Alberni. about a 20 minute drive each way.
Over the past few years of geocaching and back road 4x4ing, we have become increasingly concerned about the amount of garbage that is being dropped in our outdoor areas, out of sight to most people. Yes some of this is garden refuse, which we feel can be dealt with differently, but the biggest shame is regular garbage which should be sent to our landfill. So we have decided to engage our geocaching community to become aware of the problem, show areas where this is a problem and encourage members to talk it up around the community to try and stop this practice. If you see anyone dropping off garbage, we encourage you to take note of vehicle info and report it to the Regional District Bylaw Officer. Secondly, it would be nice, while seeking out these caches, to maybe take a few items out with you. It doesn't have to be much, but every bit helps. If anyone is aware of any sites please let us know and we will put a cache there and publish it as part of our series. Just send along the Coordinates.
We in the Caching Community are responsible members, so our help can make a difference. We hope to do some media about this once we have a number of these caches identified.
This cache is a small lock and lock container with a small log book, pencil and some small tradeables. On the way to the cache, and near the cache site you will see lots of garbage dumped beside and on the road. The cache is located in a nice peaceful, clean area close to all of the garbage, within 10 feet of the road. No major bushwacking required.
When I placed the cache there was a large Eagle and a Raven perusing the garbage.
