Geocache Description:

We placed a series of 10 caches all along the parade route: from where the units form up on Walnut Street near 3rd Street, up to 21st Street, and all along Centre Street down to Front Street. The names of the caches are inspired by some of the regular units and some of our fondest memories of the Ashland Labor Day Parade. I was forced to reduce the number of caches in this series to 7 to get them published.

There are always several antique and classic cars in the parade. At one point in my life, I planned to build a fiberglass dune buggy that I could drive in the ABA Parade. I had a '67 VW Bug chassis all prepped to become that dune buggy, but it became an unfinished project that I ended up having to sell before moving to Ft. Knox, KY with the US Army.
In years past, we would wonder if there was a big gap between units or if the parade was over. It had become somewhat comical that we never knew for sure when the end of the parade has passed us.
This entry is a '56 Chevy which actually shoots huge flames from its modified exhaust pipes! In more recent years, the owner of this car has requested to be at the end of the parade... most likely to prevent catching another unit on fire.
You are looking for an extremely small magnetic container. You will likely need tweezers to remove the log from the container. Please place it back exactly as you found it.
Good luck, have fun, and please be stealthy to avoid this cache from being muggled.

Congratulations to Dig Teamsters and Fritzi_42 for the co-FTF!
