The SQ in the cache name above signifies Spirit Quest, a project to distinguish those caches that are set in cemeteries or memorial gardens. This is a good distinction to put on this type of cache and is a good idea to be used here in Michigan. Please be respectful of the area, and observe their rules and posted hours, Michigan law states that you are only permitted to visit cemeteries dawn to dusk through out the state unless other hours are posted.
This series of caches is designed to pay tribute to all the people of our armed forces past and present that help to preserve our way of life and keep us free. This series will take you to memorials in the area so you can give thanks to all our fine soldiers.

The coords for this cache will place you in the center of the memorial. In front of you will be seven stone monuments commemorating each branch of the armed services and our POW’s. You will be looking for two dates.
A = The first date is located on the monument located at N42 35.113 W082 56.476.
B = The second date is located on the monument located at N42 35.112 W082 56.483
Now do the math.
