Rossmtbiker is usually seen sporting a ballcap, and a GPSr hanging around his neck. Frequently with a carload of cachers crammed inside his trusty warthog. With Samwise nearby, caching is always an interesting phenomena! He is also renound for his ability to take large group photo's at arms length, that include his smiling face!
Rossmtbiker also has a great skill in solving complex puzzles with nothing other than his GPSr - I swear he has one of the fastest thumbs in Ottawa, and I remain amazed at his ability to effortlessly intersect routes with proximities to quickly determine any GZ. I've often seen him describing this technique to others, with various degrees of success!
To place this cache in his honor, I've hiked over hill and dale to deposit a cache deep in the woods. In order to find this cache, you'll have to do some fancy thumbwork on your GPSr, and find the intersection of two nearby tribute caches:
- 0136 mils trueN from GC1P0YC (dadndaughter 3000)
- 3904 mils trueN from GC1GYW3 (Model Blue 4K)
The cache is also located 10m off a faint trail, that had fresh mtn bike treads in the soil, so you have the opportunity to mountain bike to the cache coordinates, if you dare!
Whether traveling by bike, ski, snowshoe, or hike, I hope you appreciate the varied terrain.
Enjoy.
