Geocache Description:

A Cache and Dash near Whittlesford Parkway Station

I liked the 'Parkway Cache and Dash' moniker but my wife liked 'Ivy Bower'. So thats what it is and theres a clue in the name. You could do this by train to Whittlesford Parkway from Liverpool Street Station or Cambridge or any station in between. Its a 5 minute walk from the London bound platform. If coming by car then the train station parking is safest (though £ is involved). If by bike there is a cycle path from the outskirts of Sawston past the BP / Macdonalds roundabout to the station. If you are that way inclined then reward yourself once you've found the cache with a McFlurry at the Mc D's (500maway on the A501 Sawston By pass junction. Planted the cache in early spring so nettles were at a minimum. This could be badly overgrown in Summer. When placed there was a bouncy spider, a lucky stone, a fluffy yellow Key fob and notebook and Pen. The cache needs careful replacing and covering if it to stay hidden from curious kids.
