Traditional micro cache at Orange County Arboretum - not in any structures or stone walls. (Gratz to WaylessWood on FTF!) - BYOP!
Arbor cache is hidden in the Orange County Arboretum, which is located within Thomas Bull Memorial Park.
Approach the gates slowly with your car - gates will automatically open. Parking is located within the arboretum.
(As recently noted, gate will not open without a car).
PLEASE NOTE: Cache is NOT located within any stone walls, ornaments or structures.
Cache could technically be reached with several feet of snow on the ground.

The Orange County Arboretum is located in the Thomas Bull Memorial Park, Hamptonburgh, New York. The 35 acres of rolling former pasturelands and wooded areas are an environmental resource and garden whose primary purpose is the display of tree collections. These collections are placed to contribute to a learning experience organized around botanical family relationships, tree habitats and wetland characteristics.
The wooded borders of the six acre Al Durland Memorial Pond back the Arboretum. In the distance visitors can view the dramatic profile of the Shawangunk Mountains. The Arboretum offers a venue to compare and evaluate plants. Others may look to the Arboretum as a resource for learning about plant selections for environmental enhancements.
